About this speaker

Michelle Perro, MD, DHom, is a distinguished clinician with over four decades of experience in pediatrics and integrative medicine, dedicated to treating both children and their families. Her career commenced in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and evolved into integrative medicine over the past 25 years.

Dr. Perro has served as the director of a Pediatric Emergency Department in NYC and spent more than a decade at UCSF Benioff Oakland Children’s Hospital. She is a passionate advocate for children's health, particularly concerning the impacts of genetically modified (GM) food and their associated pesticides.

She has lectured extensively on the state of children's health both nationally and internationally and produced the first Children’s Environmental Health Bill of Rights. Dr. Perro is also the co-author of the highly acclaimed book, “What’s Making our Children Sick?”.

In addition to her clinical work, she is the CEO and co-founder of the website GMOScience, which focuses on food as medicine and the regeneration education movement. Her monthly podcast, "The New MDS," offers insights into current health issues. Her upcoming book, “Making our Children Well,” is scheduled for release in 2025.
